Canton Fair

China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, was founded in the spring of 1957 and is held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn. Canton Fair is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and Guangdong Provincial People's Government, and organized by China Foreign Trade Center, which is the comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, the largest scale, the most comprehensive commodities, the most buyers and the widest sources, the best transaction effect and the best reputation in China, and is known as the first exhibition in China, the barometer and vane of China's foreign trade.

Canton Fair is the window, epitome and symbol of China's opening up to the outside world, and an important platform for international trade cooperation. Since its inception, the Canton Fair has been successfully held for 132 sessions, and has established trade relations with 229 countries and regions around the world, with a cumulative export turnover of about 1.5 trillion U.S. dollars, and a cumulative total of about 10 million overseas buyers attending and viewing the fair online, which has strongly promoted the trade exchanges and friendly relations between China and other countries in the world.
